Responsibilities

  • Enforce payroll processes and policies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Manage coordination with external Professional Employer Organization (PEO), including TriNet.
  • Train, support, and guide hourly employees and managers on timecard submission and review processes.
  • Prepare month-end payroll accruals and reclassification journal entries.
  • Coordinate payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Support audits, including annual financial statement audits, 401(k) audits, and workers’ compensation audits.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation, ensuring timely processing and reporting.

Requisitos

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in payroll processing with TriNet is MANDATORY. (U.S. experience preferred).
  • Experience supporting an hourly workforce and timekeeping processes.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems (TriNet or similar platforms preferred).
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax coordination, and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Candidates must be Panamanian citizens or hold a valid work permit for employment in Panama.
